SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), July 27 (SeeNews) - Italy's machinery parts manufacturer PMP Industries plans to build a factory for steel castings for electrically powered machines, the environment ministry of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Serb Republic said.

PMP Industries has submitted a preliminary environmental impact assessment (EIA) for the project, the environment ministry said in a notice.

The planned factory will spread over 91,284 sq m and will include two facilities. The first facility, for the production of steel castings, is planned to be built by 2024, whereas the second facility, for the mechanical processing of the steel castings, will be completed by 2027, the EIA shows.

PMP Industries is already present in Bosnia through fully-owned manufacturer of machine parts for iron and steel works PMP Jelsingrad FMG.

The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Federation is the other one.
